A bright elliptical object hovers in the night sky. Behind it is a headless specter which seems to be watching over the object. It is as if he approves and is delighted that his creation can fly. Captured on a December night, I thought I had a photo of a bright cloud in the sky. Only later did I discover the face in the cloud. (Photograph with minor touch-up) Not a composite.

Since I was a child, I have collected things in nature that inspire me. I keep a box of treasured objects: It is filled with things such as an abandoned paper wasp nest and a dead carpenter bee.
