Artist's Description
A monstrous wild-eyed squid attacks a wooden sailing vessel. A vintage etching depicting an ancient mythological flesh eating sea creature known as Kraken. This myth must have represented a sailor's worst nightmare.
Today we know the legends of this monster were based on sightings of giant squids. This animal belongs to the genus Architeuthis and was the subject of many scientific studies. Thus shrouded in mystery, Architeuthis is almost a mythological creature and has a place both in science and in myth: the very last of the legends to persist to this day. A vintage etching transformed by digital processes.

An array of 'pretty rocks' sits on a windowsill. My soul finds expression in photography and digital art. What I see around us becomes part of my soul. I want the walls of my heart to be decorated with beauty. If you find the pictures I share with you to be on the walls of your home and grace the walls of your heart, then I have accomplished my goal. I love photography and...
